Parent teacher communication

Communication with School


Written notes are the simplest method of communicating with the class teachers. If you have concerns or want a point clarified please see your child’s teacher.  If you are not satisfied with an explanation or outcome please make an appointment to see the Principal or Head of Curriculum. 

Making early contact ensures all decisions are in the best interests of the children and can also relieve unnecessary anxiety.  It is best to deal with a matter as it affects you and not rely on second hand information which may be misconstrued or inaccurate.  If you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact the school and make and appointment with the class teacher or Principal.



Parent/Teacher interviews are held in Term 1 and Term 3.  Additional interviews will be held throughout the year as requested by staff or parents/guardians. Early in the year all parents are invited to a Parent Teacher Information Meeting.  This is an important opportunity to find out general information about your child’s classroom and your child’s school year.

Parents are invited to contact the school at any time should they have a concern about their child. If you require a meeting with any staff member, please make prior arrangements through school contacts, by phone or email.
