Performance and achievements

NAPLAN results

 
Our 2015 School Improvement Review was outstanding and our National Assessment Program – Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) results are the best they have ever been since the commencement of this assessment in 2008.

 

The key findings of our School Improvement Review include:

  • The school has a clear focus and direction for improvement
  • The school is guided by a strong, collaborative leadership team who displays a    sophisticated understanding of leadership
  • Consistent reading practices are being implemented across the school
  • There are improved outcomes for students as a result of Positive Behaviour for Learning
  • Formal processes of coaching and feedback are embedded in school practice
  • A culture of optimism exists across the school

School Opinion Survey (SOS)

 

Results from our School Opinion Survey (SOS) for 2015. The SOS is an annual survey conducted by staff, parent/carer and student to gauge opinions on important aspects of schooling in Queensland state schools.

 
The results have been very pleasing. I have outlined some of the key findings from our school opinion survey and have included data from 2014-2015 to provide an indication of the school’s progress over time.  The figure represents the percentage of people that agree with each statement.
